Download Patch 1.01 Oddworld: New `n` Tasty-gog

Three days ago, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty was released on PC Platforms. It hasn’t taken long for Oddworld Inhabitants to hear player feedback, and they’ve already shipped out their first patch on Steam:, which is set to fix the various issues that cropped up in the PC version’s initial release. Primarily, the fixes focused on gamepad-related issues, but there was a boot problem addressed as well. First, Oddworld Inhabitants worked to fix a bug associated with Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty’s boot-up process. Previously, the game would sometimes boot up with a grey screen rather than the game proper. This bug specifically targeted those who did not pick a default language for Steam.
Oddworld Inhabitants released Patch 1.01 for the PC version of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty on Steam, which fixes controller and boot issues. Now, the game forces a default language upon booting up, which allows it to boot up normally. Second, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty had several of its gamepad issues fixed. The developers tweaked the deadzone in the Xbox 360 analog sticks, in hopes to fix the occasional problem with jittery movement and unpredictable controls. Oddworld Inhabitants felt that these issues were caused by a deadzone that was too small, and they increased its size to balance things out. On top of the Xbox 360 controller fix, Oddworld Inhabitants thought to increase the amount of compatible devices, and added a setting in the options menu to allow the use of Microsoft XInput devices. For those who don’t use Microsoft devices and controllers, and would rather prefer other brands, you’re also in luck: Logitech F310, F510, and F710 controllers are now compatible with the game, too. For those who want to buy the PC version of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, you can buy 10% off for its first week of release on Steam, Humble, and GOG.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is available for PS4 and PC. It will also be released on Xbox One and PS3 early next month; a Wii U release date is still unknown.

Yes, this already fails at basic movement. Something's definitely wrong here: MenuHorizontal=JoystickAxis0,None,False MenuVertical=JoystickAxis1,None,True MovementHorizontal=JoystickAxis0,None,False MovementVertical=JoystickAxis1,None,True I have bound menu and in-game movement to the same axis'. It works for the menu: Up is up, down is down, left is left, right ist right.
When I try to move in-game: Up and down do nothing. Right is up and left is down. Originally posted by: Did you -1 from each, as the help files suggest? Yes, this already fails at basic movement.
