If you mean formatting it for the first time, tick “No Disc”, then click one of the “Boot ISO” options under the System drop down menu (doesn’t matter if fast or full) (There will be a “boot BIOS” option if you’re using a 1.5 beta). Once the PS2 boots up, select “browser”, then select the memory card you want to format, press X and you’ll be asked to do so. If you want to format it after you already formatted it the first time, sadly this feature was never implemented natively in the PS2 BIOS. You can however create a new virtual memory card with PCSX2 itself (Config>Memory Cards), or you can download MC Annihilator ( ) and run it via System>Castillo Azul Ricardo Montaner. Run ELF. You should format the memory card using the same method as you did on your PS2. The only tricky part for most of the beginners is on entering the BIOS screen on PCSX2.

Follow these steps and you should be fine:), 1/ Tick No disc in CDVD drop down list. 2/ do a fast boot ( you'll enter the BIOS screen) 3/ select browser and format any of the memory cards listed like you did on your PS2. Need For Speed The Run Exe File. Make sure to also change the 'No disc' part afterwards to play the game you want on your intended medium (ISO / CDVD).
