Hi - When connecting my Motorola Cable Box to my Samsung HDTV via HDMI, the picture shows for a second or two and then goes green. The Audio works fine.

Component connection works fine - the problem is only with an HDMI connection. I checked the config on the box and HDCP is set to 'not enabled'. After doing some research, I see that others have had the same problem whsn HDCP is not enabled. So, my question is, how to I enable HDCP?

I found some suggested methods involving powering things off and plugging and unplugging the HDMI cable, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions?? I have the Samsung pn58a550 and I also can not get HDMI from my Comcast DCH3200 to the TV.

I have read in other forums that it is a HDMI conflict. To be more specific the DCH3200 is using an old HDMI version ~1.0 while the new Samsungs have been made with Version 1.3a. It has been rumored that the DVR Box will work but at the additional cost.

I would be glad to hear of any proress made in getting the DCH box to output HDMI to the Samsung TV. I would love to get a HDMI switching AVR to act as a hub between the Cable box, a DVD/VCR, and my Playstation 3 to the TV. All of the above are HDMI and my wife gets confused doing all the manual input switching. The new AVR's provide this function.
